Our Day Long Bicycle Chronicle
By Jessica McLaughlin

If you don’t have a bicycle, they’re easy to come by. But in this city, most of us have a nice two-wheel ride with a basket or milk crate attached to take us on a trip or two around the neighbourhood. We all do a lot of solo riding, but how many times have you taken a side-by-side ride on a date? (Unless of course you’re the sporty type – which I am not!) We put the basket on my bicycle to good use and grabbed a cheap bottle of wine to put it in it (not that I’m condoning drinking in public – discretion is advised).

Mike Langille has been in business for over 8 years and has been transporting travelers all over the downtown area. There are over 30 rickshaws and pedicab’s in his fleet and each of his runners have license plates and carry liability insurance. Truely a different way to go a short distance and it’s much cheaper than finding and paying for parking. Continue reading
